GAMELIB BOARD and BOX: unofficial, fan-created, 3D-printable additions to the GAMELIB POCKET.
GAMELIB BOARD is a set of modular trays that can replace the backs of game cards (offering greater shock resistance). These boards are available as a zip file containing .stl files for each of the 6 different formats, for printing at home. Downloading is free of charge (or even free of charge).

GAMELIB BOX is a box designed to store your GAMELIB BOARD tiles and/or your GAMELIB POCKET deck. It is also included as an .stl file with the modular trays.

These designs were created by Matthew Hender, one of the Kickstarter backers of the GAMELIB POCKET.

GAMELIB BOARD files in .stl format let you create and assemble modular tiles to reproduce game boards used with GAMELIB POCKET. Available at a FREE PRICE, these tiles are designed to adapt perfectly to the dimensions of GAMELIB POCKET cards, while reducing the impact of shocks on your gaming table!

As a bonus, you’ll also receive the files to print the GAMELIB BOX, a storage solution designed to hold a selection of GAMELIB BOARD pieces (except 4×4 tiles). The box can hold up to 9 layers of tiles, including :

• 9 3×3 tiles.
• A selection of 3×2, 3×1 and smaller tiles.
• And even your GAMELIB POCKET deck!

Key features

• Portable format:
  • A set of GAMELIB BOARD tiles takes up about as much space as your GAMELIB POCKET box. Both can be stored together in the GAMELIB BOX for easy transport.
• Different tile sizes:
  • 6 modular sizes: 1×1, 2×2, 3×1, 3×2, 3×3, and 4×4.
  • Print 9 copies of the 3×3 tile to cover numerous board configurations (e.g. 9×9, 8×8, 12×2, 3×3).
  • Or print out the exact sizes required for your configuration.
• Reversible tiles:
  • One side contains hollowed-out spaces for placing meeples and cubes.
  • The other side is flat with delimited squares, ideal for games like Awalé.
• Quality and durability:
  • Durability depends on the parameters of your 3D printer. The tiles are light, small and easy to replace if broken (although we haven’t broken any yet!).
  • Make sure your printer has sufficient tolerances for the tabs to fit correctly. If necessary, clean prints carefully for optimum fit.
• Added value to gameplay:
  • This is an optional accessory that doesn’t add new decks to your collection. It’s simply a practical, stable alternative to using the back of the cards as a tray.
